Cygnus is a private cargo spacecraft that is one of the International Space Station’s supply ships. Just yesterday, Cygnus successfully docked with the ISS, carrying 1.5 tons of scientific experiments, food and other supplies, Christmas gifts that were sent up by the astronauts’ families, and an entire colony of ANT-ONAUTS! 🙂

Such re-supply missions are vital to maintain life and stability aboard the International Space Station.
