A few days ago, someone gave me this lovely gift. Thank you, generous person! Obviously, it’s a perfect fit for Black Hole Theater! 🙂
What is it? It’s a trilobite fossil, and it is about 500 million years old (between 497 and 509 million years old, to be exact)!
Trilobites were crazy – they were everywhere. They roamed the oceans of Earth for more than 270 million years, before going extinct about 250 million years ago. In comparison, the dinosaurs dominated the planet for “only” 135 million years, and went extinct about 66 million years ago.
If you want to have a look/a touch at this piece of Earth history, join us at our next screening.
You’ll always find event details here:
May you be beautifully fossilized!
